Previous Events

SEPTA has a presence at many local community events in the project area providing information about the Market Street Elevated Reconstruction Project and giveaways to all who stop by.

Ron Waters' 2008 Village Family Reunion held on August 9th at the Frances Meyers Rec Center 58th and Kingsessing brought the community together with free food, rides for the kids, entertainment, and health screening for the public.

Anthony Williams' 19th Annual Neighborhood to Neighborhood Street Festival held on September 1st attracts 8,000 people every year.  Neighbors, friends and community resource providers are key to this day of fun, togetherness and activities.
