Safety Video for Children

Safety First: SEPTA @ WORK, is a ten-minute, animated video with a contemporary hip-hop beat, complete with children's drawings, singing, and storytelling designed to teach safety to children. Available in VHS and DVD formats, this video is colorful, unique and fun!

The safety of children is a top concern as SEPTA rebuilds the El. SEPTA understands how curious children can be. Construction sites can be dangerous. To help children stay safe, SEPTA is offering a free school safety program that includes the video and other materials for teachers and parents.

The safety video was developed and produced with the help of area children. They assembled to learn about construction projects and then were asked to draw their impressions. The result is an inspired collection of original art that captures the sights and sounds of their neighborhood and the El. The animated video holds kids' attention while delivering safety tips!
