Business Roundtables and Workshops are held periodically to update owners about the project and to provide assistance on various topics (e.g. marketing, accounting). For information, call Baker and Company, LLC, 215-972-5550.

Business Building Initiatives

Shopping Campaigns (including the El Shopping Zone Campaigns) are organized to encourage shopping in West Philadelphia and eastern Delaware County during the holidays. Thirteen shopping campaigns have been implemented to date to help project area businesses maintain and increase their customer base. Campaigns feature print ads and related events in the community. Positive media coverage about the campaigns have been generated in the Neighborhood Leader, Philadelphia Tribune, and Westside Weekly and the latest holiday campaign won the prestigious Neographics Award.
