52nd Street Station Dedication Celebration - June 22, 2008

52nd Street Station was all decked out in celebration. Thousands of riders came through the new station during the celebration. Many commented about how great the station looked. Riders were treated to free juice, bottled water, pastries and pretzel dogs. Riders were also given bags filled with SEPTA lanyards and passholders as well as $5 shopping zone cards, notepads, pens and refrigerator magnets imprinted with SEPTA's Community Information Center addresses and telephone numbers. Radio station WDAS-FM 105.3, TV station WPVI channel 6 and the Westside Weekly were on hand to greet riders and publicize the celebration.
